The Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that receives no government or agency funding. A contribution to The Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer helps in many ways, including supporting and expanding existing programs and therapies, developing new initiatives, and most important, continuing the research that is so vital to continuing our fight against childhood cancer. We rely on the generosity and support of our donors to help us in our mission to support children with cancer and to improve the cure rate of childhood cancer through the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and the Yale University School of Medicine. You can make a difference!

At Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, children with cancer have access to state-of-the-art care, including clinical trails of new and promising treatments. Childhood leukemia and many other pediatric cancers are now curable in two out of three cases – unheard of 20 years ago! By the year 2010, it is estimated that one out of 500 of the United States population will be a childhood cancer survivor.
